About This Product

Expansion board exclusively for the LFYB series. Implements two PPI (8255) and can expand DIO with TTL level 48 bits. Up to 4 boards can be stacked together. Compatible boards include LFYBH82238/H82633/SH7044/SH7047. ■Note This board is the same product that was developed and sold by the former Yellow Soft Co., Ltd., which went out of business, as a prototype and for learning purposes, and which our company continues to produce. This is a product that originally did not have environment-related parameters such as RoHS, and we are unable to provide it, so please be aware of this before considering it. ■Product features a) A single board can control isolated 17-bit input and 16-bit output I/O. Solder the pin header to the CPU board and stack it on top of it. General-purpose IO MSM82C55 is used to control the photocoupler. b) Both input and output have indicator LEDs that light up when the terminals are in condition, allowing you to visually check the operation. The input is a green LED lights up when the photocoupler input terminal is connected to the GND of the external power supply, and the output is a red LED shop light when the open collector output is ON. You can also choose not to turn on the LED. c) Since the board address can be set using the DIP switch, I/O control can be performed by stacking up to 4 boards (input 64 + 1 bit, output 64 bit) by dividing the address. d) Output photocoupler is Darlington open collector output. e) The input connector has 26 pins and the output connector has 20 pins, which is designed to prevent incorrect insertion. ■Power supply It is supplied from the CPU side by stacking it with the CPU board. The current consumption of the I/O board is within 100mA (at no load). Operation at 3.3V cannot be guaranteed. Please prepare a power supply of +12~24V 100mA or more for the input photocoupler EXTV. The output photocoupler uses a Darlington type equivalent to Toshiba TLP-523 (maximum withstand voltage 55V @ 25°C, maximum current 150mA @ 25°C, recommended withstand voltage 24V, recommended current 40mA).
