About This Product

With the "middle hardware" LFA series specifications, by connecting a commercially available Bluetooth USB adapter (USB toggle), pairing (connection) with an SPP master (Serial Port Profile) such as a PC is possible, and wireless serial communication ( virtual COM port). The dedicated software allows you to use it without worrying about the USB host function or Bluetooth protocol stack, and supports communication speeds up to 230.4Kbps. By switching the operation mode, it can also operate as an SPP master, and pairing between these products is also possible. Unlike built-in Bluetooth modules, the wireless part is separated, so customers can support new Bluetooth versions, repair problems, and reduce costs by simply replacing the USB adapter. With an adapter, there is no need for troublesome board-side certification.

■What is Bluetooth?

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communication standard for digital devices. By dividing the 2.4GHz band into 79 frequency channels and performing frequency hopping, which randomly changes the frequency used, you can communicate wirelessly at up to 24Mbps with Bluetooth-equipped devices within a radius of 1 to 100m. Nowadays, the convenience of simple digital wireless communication with little directivity is recognized, and it is becoming popular in a variety of fields.
