About This Product
Middle hardware" CircLink slave compatible product equipped with SMSC's TMC2084 with LFA series specifications. The general-purpose CPU-less model has a parallel interface that connects directly to a commercially available terminal block such as the Omron relay terminal (G7TC-OC16) (no cables required), and performs digital input/output to various targets according to instructions from the host.
CircLink is based on ARCNET, which was originally developed for in-vehicle communication, and is a collision detection type of CSMA/CD communication method such as Ethernet (real-time performance cannot be ensured). The enhanced token passing communication method is different from the previous one, and features such as network standard time function, CMI code function, stand-alone mode function, and memory mirror function have been added to ensure real-time performance and stability. The protocol makes it an ideal network for embedded equipment applications that require real-time control and reduced wiring.
