About This Product
LFA8 is a UART<->xPico bridge board equipped with xPico, an embedded device server module manufactured by Lantronix, or xPicoWiFi + RX631 (R5F5631), and is compatible with any device with a serial interface. It is an extremely compact network solution that can be equipped with a LAN interface.
In addition to complying with the series standard specifications, this model is equipped with Renesas Electronics' RX631 (R5F5631) general-purpose CPU, so it is possible to customize command specifications, etc. Of course, dedicated software has been implemented so that it can be used with simple commands, so you can use it without any knowledge of Ethernet. The LAN module on the board is a connector type, allowing customers to easily replace wired/wireless modules.
■What is Ethernet?
Ethernet is a LAN (Local Area Network) commonly used in offices and homes around the world, and is the most used network technology standard. A LAN standard devised by Xerox and DEC. Modern LANs generally use a combination of Ethernet, which is a physical standard, and TCP/IP protocol, which specifies communication content, and was established in 1983. The specification was established as IEEE 802.3 CSMA/CD.
