■Notice of sales start of “LFA6U-PASTA”
We have started selling the intelligent CAN-USB converter "LFA6U-PASTA" with insulation specifications that complies with SLCAN. This is the same standard accessory for the automotive CAN bus test bed PASTA, but please note that the cable is sold separately.
■LFA6U is a CAN<->USB (USB2.0 standard compliant) bridge board equipped with the Renesas CAN unit built-in CPU RX631 (R5F5631) and has the following features.
・With our pre-installed application, you can access the CAN communication line with simple commands from the USB HOST device without any knowledge of CAN.
- By using the separately sold CPU debug board, it is also possible to program customer-specific applications.
・With the insulation mounting option, it is possible to electrically isolate the CAN line and this board.
- The board size is small, 2cm x 6.2cm, and can be directly attached to a PC's USB connector.
- The CAN communication section can send and receive messages in both standard (11-bit) IDentifier and extended (29-bit) ID formats.
・The bit rate of the CAN communication section can be changed by command.
