■What is honeycomb fusuma mat?
Core materials for fusuma include conventional cores, cardboard cores, and styrofoam cores. However, each has its advantages and disadvantages, and there were problems with warpage, price, and workability.
By manufacturing fusuma using the honeycomb fusuma mat introduced here, it has become possible to solve these problems and make better fusuma. Honeycomb fusuma mats are made of paper honeycomb, a lightweight core material, and a moisture-proof board that prevents warping, making it a material that is easy to work with and has less warping.
The warpage data is based on the "Mass Production Fusuma Test Method" established by the Japan Housing and Urban Development Corporation, and some products have extremely low center warpage of 0.47mm after 24 hours. (Reference value)
