About This Product

The ULC/ULG series was developed for the purpose of turning and grinding optical components such as lenses and their molds with high precision and efficiency. We prepare mechanical structures and optional configurations that are optimal for each application, not just optical components, and achieve high cost performance. ■High rotation accuracy

In addition to high speed, high precision, high rigidity, low heat generation, and high reliability, high rotation accuracy is achieved. ・Grinding spindle: 20nm/NRRO ・Workpiece spindle: 5nm/NRRO (Note 1) (Note 1) Measurement is based on the Single Point Asynchronous Error Motion method.

■Consideration for ecology

Equipped with a porous aerostatic bearing, it achieves a stable and high-quality machined surface, and at the same time reduces air consumption to 1/6 (compared to our conventional model), contributing to energy savings. Ultra precision V-V limited rolling guide

■High repeatability, high machining efficiency

The ultra-low friction guide achieved by the combination of our advanced lapping technology and carefully selected ultra-precision rollers provides high follow-up of minute feeds and eliminates delays during reversal. Also, compared to oil/air static pressure guides, it achieves higher rigidity and stability while ensuring the same accuracy.

■Consideration for ecology and space saving

There is no fluid temperature change seen in static pressure guides, ensuring stable accuracy, and there is no need for a hydraulic unit, contributing to space and energy savings. Feed drive method

Ball screw drive system and linear motor drive system are optimally designed for each model and each axis to ensure cost performance.

■Consideration for high-quality processing

Developed and adopted a special coupling that offsets the stress and vibration caused by ball screw rotation, which tend to be problems with ball screw drive systems.
