■The ternary servo function unit (SFU) is
- Everything is built into the motor housing, including the servo motor, various sensors, brake (selectable), servo amplifier (control circuit, drive circuit, power circuit, communication circuit), setting data, point sequence data, etc.
・It is an all-in-one structure that also incorporates mechanical parts such as gears and cylinders.
-Compact, with high dustproof and waterproof protection capabilities, and has a standard lineup with protection grades from IP40 to IP65.
- At the same time, various functions are built-in to highlight the features of the integrated structure.

- Built-in drive circuit (amplifier) eliminates the need for a separate amplifier, making it possible to downsize the electrical panel.
・External wiring between the motor, encoder, and amplifier is not required, resulting in wiring savings.
・When connecting multiple axes, wiring can be further reduced and the number of contacts such as slip rings can be reduced.
- Integration makes it easier to monitor and manage motor internal temperature and voltage/current fluctuations.
・Temperature rise can be suppressed by automatic drive current control and built-in brake automatic control/current control function.
- Waterproof specification eliminates the need for an external cover, allowing for a compact and simple structure.
・Equipment start-up time can be shortened by reducing servo amplifier installation and wiring man-hours.
- The cylinder and gear unit are already assembled, further reducing time.
- Total costs can be reduced by saving man-hours, space, and wiring.
