About This Product

■Measures for damper installation

If a damper is installed close to the blower, the manufacturing specifications will change. We recommend a pressure-resistant type.

■Cause

The airflow in the duct near the fan, around bends, or branches has uneven or turbulent flow. Unbalanced flow that concentrates the load on some blades, and turbulence that is irregular airflow cause the blades to vibrate, causing metal fatigue in the bearings, causing the connecting fittings and bearing pedestal, which are the rotary shaft of the damper, to fall off due to wear. It may deteriorate and the roots may fly off.

■Main countermeasure examples

・Measure 1: If the fan air volume and static pressure outside the machine are small, it is determined that there is not much turbulence and the root position is set so that it does not go against the airflow. ・Countermeasure 2: If the specification exceeds the standard of Measure 1 and does not reach the high pressure 1 duct, use our high pressure 1 specification damper. ・Measure 3: If it is equivalent to a high pressure 1 duct, reduce the wind speed by considering the damper size and use our high pressure 2 specification damper. ・Measure 4: If you want to further consider strength, use a damper with a structure without a rotating shaft.
