About This Product
■Summary
・ES-160F/NTP6 is a master clock/time code generator/NTP server that operates based on a built-in high-precision crystal oscillator.
- Equipped with a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator, the master clock error is within ± a few seconds per month. If even higher precision is required, please specify the OCXO constant temperature oven type crystal oscillator option.
・Can be synchronized to external pulses such as hourly or second pulses
・The 6-digit LED on the front panel displays the time.
・Back up the internal clock and basic settings with a button battery
- SMPTE output can be synced to an external VIDEO source. DF, NDF, EBU and Real Time modes can be selected
・You can calibrate your PC's clock via USB or RS-232C connection.
- Various functions of the ES-185F/NTP6, including the NTP server, can be configured using a browser.
・The dedicated software (Master Control Panel app) that connects the PC and this unit via USB and runs in a Windows environment (Win7, Win10) has functions other than the NTP server settings.

・Outputs SMPTE/EBU, IRIG-B, ASCII (RS-232C&USB), ESE time code (TC89/TC90 selection)
・SMPTE/EBU output can be synchronized with VIDEO signal
・NTP time server function (RJ-45, IPv4, IPv6 compatible)
・10MHz reference input can be added as an option (/EX10)
・High-precision constant temperature oven type crystal can be used as an option for internal clock (/OCXO)
・Optional IRIG output can be selected between AM or TTL with internal switch
・Second pulse output
・6-digit 14mm orange LED time display
- Connect to PC via USB or serial (RS-232C) and use dedicated software to configure and calibrate PC clock.
・32MHz internal clock test output. The internal clock can be fine-tuned using the rear trim volume.
・Internal clock backup with button battery
・User settings are saved in flash memory, and settings are retained even in the event of a power outage.
・AC90-264V operation, universal power supply
・EIA 1U 19″ rack mount type, black anodized panel
