About This Product
■Summary
SAS32KD is a digital audio network switching system that can accommodate large scale configurations. Up to 512 I/O channels (e.g. 128 stereo inputs, 128 stereo outputs) and network interfaces can be built into the 6U size 32KD frame body. Multiple 32KD frames can be networked together using optical fiber, and all audio resources can be extracted from each 32KD frame. Voice and control transmission is designed for redundancy using a double ring structure path, increasing safety.
System master control unit MCU-32 can be made redundant. All cards and redundant power supply units are hot-swappable.
The RIO unit (2U) is a small switcher with 16 stereo inputs and 16 stereo outputs, and can be connected to the 32KD to share the entire resource.

・The main body frame incorporates cards with a total of 21 slots.
・Set cards according to the purpose in the main body frame
・The built-in DSP of the OUTPUT card allows not only routing but also various audio processing
・Audio input/output can be mixed digital and analog
・Supports duplication of power supplies, controllers, etc., and hot-swappable input/output cards
- Maximum total of 512 input/output channels in one frame, expandable via network. Up to 4,096 channels
・Multiple 32KDs can be connected using a redundant fiber network to build a large network.
・Backplane supports 1,024 channels
・A/D and D/A are 24bit, 48kHz, and digital input is equipped with a sampling converter. External sink compatible
・DAD can be connected and controlled to Server Module (PC) using TCP/IP in addition to RS-232C
・RIOLink can be connected to 32KD and linked to the 32KD source. 32KD can be connected to multiple RIOLinks
・RIOLink has 32 channels of audio input/output, 16 channels of control, and 16 RS-485 ports
