Overview
SAS offers Core 64 Dante AoIP cards, multi-codec cards, and IP network master control unit cards that are compatible with all existing 32KD units. ■Control
The MCU64 provides central control for each CORE64 and is accessed via a standard Ethernet connection. A secondary MCU64 can be added for redundant configuration. The MCU64 holds all CORE64 operating parameters, custom configurations on an SD memory card, and generates the main clock and standby clock. All storage is very reliable on non-volatile RAM. The system runs independently of external computer control.
■Power supply
SAS custom-designed power supply supports long-term stable operation. Each power supply has its own AC mains power cable and a robust fan to maintain airflow. Alarm and fault status can be quickly monitored with LEDs. During normal operation, both power supplies share the load. In the unlikely event of a power supply failure, the secondary power supply is capable of continuously supplying the full load of the CORE64.
