The ES-274U receives the IRIG-B signal and generates SMPTE/EBU timecode. SMPTE/EBU output locks to VIDEO reference input. Outputs IRIG-B DAYS information to SMPTE user bits. X-X-X-X-X-100D-10D-D
■Functions/Features
・IRIG-B (AM signal) power corresponds to 100mVpp-10Vpp by AGC circuit
- If the time difference between the input IRIG signal and the SMPTE output is more than +-100mSec, it will relock to IRIG. At 2am, reset SMPTE frame data
・SMPTE output syncs to VIDEO signal
・DF/NDF (drop frame/non-drop frame) can be switched with front panel switch
・SMPTE output is balanced output by transformer isolation XLR output
・SMPTE accuracy ±100msec
・EIA 1U 19″ rack mount type
・AC100-120V operation

・/1PPS: Second pulse output, 5Vpp
・/CLEAR: Front panel clear (silver anodized) finish

■SMPTE user bit
IRIG-B format usually does not have month and day information. The standard ES-274U outputs IRIG-B's DAYS information (total days) to the user bit. Special IRIG signals can be supported by special order.
