■Summary
ES-295 is an IRIG timecode generator/translator. If there is no IRIG input, the IRIG-A, B, and G signals are generated internally, and when the IRIG-A, B, and G signals are input, it is jam-synced to the IRIG signal. Can operate as a self-propelled generator.
Input one system of IRIG-A, B, G signals from the BNC connector at normal play speed. Timecode input can be in AM or TTL format. Input and output formats can be set from the setup/status display on the main unit's front panel LCD, or using the included control panel software. The AM format IRIG input is a wide range (100mVPP-10VPP) AGC input.
ES-295 has error bypass mode (flywheel) and freeze mode. In error bypass mode, output is generated continuously even when timecode errors occur. In Freeze mode, timecode output will stop if an error occurs in the input timecode or if the input timecode is lost.
