About This Product

■Summary

The HD-455/SD/1 reads SMPTE/EBU timecode and inserts the read timecode and 30 user-defined characters (alphanumeric characters) into the HD/SD SDI VIDEO signal. SMPTE/EBU LTC timecode reading is bidirectional and has a wide range of speeds from 1/30 to 20x. Timecode can be embedded in D-VITC or RP-188. Two insert windows can be displayed, and the time, time + millisecond data, and user-specified characters are combined and displayed as inserts. You can choose from 10 different font sizes and set the position vertically and horizontally. You can also set the color and brightness of the text. Device settings can be made using the front panel or by connecting to a PC via USB and using dedicated software. HD-455/SD/2 can insert date and time information into two video signals, and HD-455/SD/6 can insert date and time information into six video signals.
