About This Product
■Summary
ES-101F is an economy type GPS watch that does not have a display on the front panel. Outputs time information from GPS in ASCII (RS-232C) and ESE-TC90. Two second pulse outputs and GPS lock output are also standard equipment. It is possible to automatically calibrate the PC clock using the ES-101F's serial output. The GPS receiver has the ability to receive up to 12 satellites simultaneously.

*Various settings of the ES-101F are changed using internal DIP switches, not through app operations.
■Differences between ES-101 and ES-101F
・The GPS receiving unit is of the latest high-performance type, improving reception accuracy.
- The format of serial output has changed.
(Old) ES-101 Format “A” output
(New) ES-101F Format “D” output, common with ES-102F, ES-185F, etc.
- The position of the GND pin of serial output DB9 has changed. From (old) 9pin to (new) 5pin
-ESE timecode output is now available only for TC90. It seems that there are no devices that can use the lost TC-89 output in Japan.
・Setting operation changed from PC software to internal DIP switch
- User bit of SMPTE output has been changed. (Old) Format L or DOY (New) Format L or SMPTE 309M
- /BBU power outage protection (compact sealed lead-acid battery built-in) option is no longer available. Please use external UPS
・The coin battery has been changed from soldering to a holder type that is easy to replace.
■GPS antenna
A mouse-type GPS antenna (1.575GHz) is included as standard with the GPS master watch. Antenna output cable length 4m, connector SMA-J3, TNC conversion included
