■ES-110 GPS Based Frequency Generator operation
The GPS lock LED will start blinking about 40 seconds after turning on the power. This state indicates that the PLL is operating with a 10MHz reference signal that supplements GPS. There may be a deviation of 100-200Hz at first, this is normal. Accuracy increases over time, and after about an hour the GPS lock LED lights up continuously and can be used as a reference signal. The lock status output on the rear panel DB-9 connector goes high when the GPS lock LED is lit continuously. It is low when the light is off or flashing.
The GPS receiving unit inside the main unit uses a coin battery to retain settings for 4 years. After replacing the battery, perform basic settings using the dedicated software (ESEGPS).
