About This Product
Would you like to eliminate the frustration of “stainless steel screwing”?
■The “galling” phenomenon when screwing in is drastically reduced.
By applying the sealant to a uniform and optimal thickness, work efficiency is greatly improved, and by eliminating uneven joint quality, high quality is maintained even after construction. This is an excellent joint that dramatically reduces water leakage due to the galling phenomenon.
*What is galling? Stainless steel is a metal that is harder, sticky, and less slippery than ordinary steel. Therefore, frictional heat is likely to be generated at the fitting part of the screw, and if the axes of the screw and female thread are not aligned when tightening the joint, or if the screw part is bitten by foreign objects or burrs, the thread part may be galled. (Seize-up) Care must be taken as it tends to stop rotating. (According to the Japan Metal Fittings Association's "Guidebook for Correct Threaded Piping: Stainless Steel Threaded Pipe Fittings")
■Light screwing torque
Tightening torque is reduced due to the lubrication effect of the evenly applied sealant. It can be screwed in smoothly up to the standard tightening thread count, and is especially effective with large diameters.
■No need to apply expensive sealant, economical and hassle-free
Fluorine-based sealant, which is ideal for screwing stainless steel, is applied from the beginning, so there is no need for sealant and there is no need to apply it, making it very economical.
■Prevents contamination of sealing material
The sealant that is applied to the joint in advance is not applied to the 2 to 3 threads on the back thread of the joint, in order to minimize the amount of sealant mixed into the fluid. Additionally, since there is no need to use sealant on the male thread, no sealant will protrude onto the outside surface of the pipe after installation, and there is no need to remove any remaining sealant.
*Please note that if you use a male screw that does not meet JIS standards or over-tighten it, seal scraps may get mixed in.
■Angle adjustment possible after screw installation
Since it uses an excellent sealing material that does not harden, it has a proven track record of not leaking water even after unscrewing it by 45 degrees. (From our internal test results)
*The Japan Metal Fittings Association's ``Guidebook for Correct Threaded Piping Stainless Steel Threaded Pipe Hand Edition'' states that unscrewing should be within 45°.
■Applicable to food-related applications. Also compatible with steam piping. Adaptable to various piping
It uses an innovative sealing material that is compatible with a wide range of fluids, so no sealing material is required at the construction site. The sealing material complies with the Food Sanitation Act, has no odor, and is suitable for piping in food-related factories. It can also withstand expansion and contraction that occurs when used in steam piping at temperatures below 150℃.
