About This Product
Our 20K pipe fittings are for Schedule 40 pipes, and have the same strength, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance as pipes. We also have a lineup of 20KZD fittings with a fluorine-based sealant applied to the threads. (1-5 inches)
This is a joint used for connecting water pipes, and has the same strength as schedule 40 or higher pipes. Additionally, the threaded part of the 20KZD fitting is coated with fluorine-based polymer resin, eliminating the need for sealing during installation. Additionally, the lubrication effect of the seal material can significantly reduce screwing torque.
Due to the revision of the Fire Service Act in May 1990, the water discharge pressure of "connected water pipes" is 0.6 MPa (6 kgf/cm2) or more, and if the water supply pressure exceeds 1 MPa (in accordance with the Fire Service Act Enforcement Regulations), Pipe must be Schedule 40 or higher. Accordingly, pipe fittings are also specified to be compatible with schedule 40 or higher pipes. Our 20K pipe fittings are for Schedule 40 pipes, and have the same strength, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance as pipes. (The joining procedure is the same as for general screw-in pipe fittings.)
