About This Product

The disposable viscometer DV-100 is a high-precision measuring device that uses a disposable tube for measurement, eliminating the need for troublesome cleaning after measurement. Viscosity is measured by measuring the falling time of a special needle inserted into the sample liquid in a disposable tube, and calculating the viscosity from the falling speed. The falling time is automatically measured using the built-in sensor and the magnet inside the needle, and the viscosity is determined. With either Newtonian or non-Newtonian fluids, it can be installed anywhere in the factory, lab, etc. without the need for equipment calibration.

・Quick viscosity measurement with easy operation ・Can measure both Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids ・Sample tube is disposable, no need to clean measurement cell (tube can be reused) ・Absolute viscosity can be measured without the need for calibration. ・Compliant with ASTM (D5478-98) ・Highly accurate temperature control is possible by using a constant temperature device.
