About This Product

The main feature of the dynamic water vapor sorption measurement device DVS Resolution is the ability to accurately control temperature and relative humidity measurements while recording the highest resolution mass changes. Dynamic water vapor sorption measurement devices use a dry carrier gas (typically nitrogen or compressed air) for their operation. A digital mass flow controller regulates the flow of drying gas and saturation gas. Relative humidity is created by precisely mixing a stream of dry gas with a stream of saturated gas. In a typical experiment, a known concentration of water vapor is placed over a sample placed inside a sample pan connected to Surface Measurement Systems' UltrabalanceTM, which measures real-time mass changes caused by the sorption or desorption of water molecules. will be carried to. Prior to sorption measurements, samples can be preheated and dried in situ at temperatures up to 300 °C.
