Kinuka's main ingredient is rice bran. When rice, our staple food, is polished, rice bran is produced. Did you know that people in the past used rice bran to polish their floors and furniture? Rice bran was roasted and wrapped in a cloth to make the whole house shine. Kinuka is a natural paint made from rice that combines the wisdom of our ancestors with our own.

・The raw material for the natural paint "Kinuka" is rice. (Patent No. 3794643) ・No solvents are used. No ventilation is required during painting. ・Contains 100% base material and has low viscosity, so it can be applied over a wide area. (Approx. 80㎡ for 1L) *Depending on the wood material and environmental conditions. ・Significantly shortens drying time. (Dry to the touch for 2-4 hours) *It takes time to completely dry. ・A natural paint that blends easily with wood and has a distinct wood grain. - There is no risk of spontaneous combustion, and the waste cloth can be easily disposed of after application. (From spontaneous ignition test) - Remains liquid even at low temperatures and has excellent workability in winter. ・It is an odorless natural paint. No odor remains in the room even after application. ・Safety has been confirmed with formaldehyde emission and VOC5 components all below the lower measurement limit. ・Experiments have proven that it is as safe as distilled water when it comes to irritating human skin.

■Please note: Kinuka should be used on "solid wood" and "unpainted" wood.

However, Kinuka cannot be used for all types of wood. In particular, please refrain from using it on chestnut wood or teak wood. Also, depending on the conditions, other woods may not be suitable due to extremely dry conditions, so please be sure to try a sample and make sure you are satisfied with the product before using it. Cannot be used on plywood, laminated wood, items that have already been coated with wax paint, and items other than solid wood. Also, please refrain from using base materials. Be sure to apply Kinuka using a rag and rubbing it in. Please refrain from using a brush as this may cause over-application.
