About This Product

■What is Waren?

Waren is a wood preservation technology that has been cultivated over 100 years by our company, which is a wood preservative processing manufacturer, and a new technology called esterification modification of wood. This is a new "wood product" that retains its natural texture and is not only resistant to warping and cracking, but also has excellent anti-corrosion and termite resistance.

■ Effects of esterification (resinization) modification processing

- Reduces warping and cracking. ・Improves the durability of wood by reducing cracking. - Suppresses the expansion and contraction of wood and suppresses dimensional changes.

■100 years of know-how in wood preservative processing

・Pressure injection of Mokubo AAC, a highly safe and environmentally friendly and human-friendly preservative with a proven track record of over 20 years. ・By reducing internal and external cracks in the wood, the expected service life against rotting fungi and termites is [approximately 30 years]

■Sustainable use of forest resources

The forest resources that we have today are assets that were entrusted to us by our ancestors about 60 years ago. The original use of wood is like passing the baton from grandparents to grandchildren over a long period of time. Waren is a processing technology that utilizes the forest resources left by our ancestors for various purposes using modern technology, and allows them to be used for a long time. Waren's goal is to create new added value to existing forest resources, return to the forests, and pass on the rich forest resources to the next generation.

■Towards a hypoxic society

As trees grow, they absorb carbon dioxide and store it as carbon. When trees are cut down and turned into wood, the stored carbon remains in the wood and is not released into the atmosphere unless it is burned or rotted. Approximately half of the dry weight of carbon is stored in wood. When converted into carbon dioxide, it is calculated that approximately 1.8 kilograms of carbon dioxide is fixed in each kilogram of wood. The longer a tree is used, the longer it can lock up the carbon it stores, while newly planted trees continue to absorb carbon dioxide. Waren wood, which has superior durability compared to untreated wood, reduces carbon dioxide emissions by continuing to store carbon over a long period of time, contributing to the global environment and a low-carbon society.
