About This Product

■Summary

A hardwood deck product that is both aesthetically pleasing and durable, with no visible viscose threads on the deck surface. Merbau and Paduk can obtain environmental protection FSC® certification and SVLK certification.

■10 year warranty for peace of mind

- Guaranteed to be free from decay for 10 years. ・We guarantee for 10 years that there will be no cracks on the surface of the material that would impede use. ・We guarantee that the clip (dedicated resin clasp) will not have any major defects for 10 years. ・Warranty applies only within Japan.

■What is Soft Line?

The development of Soft Line was aimed at achieving both durability and aesthetics. Softline is a wood deck made of ``an innovative hardwood that fixes the viscose thread on the surface of the wood deck without showing it.''

■Patented non-screw deck

The Softline series [Softline® (patent number EP 1567731)] is a hardwood deck system developed by VETEDY in 2001 that can be installed using the non-screw construction method.

■Both durability and beauty

By making it possible to fix the product on the surface of a hardwood deck without showing any screws, an innovative and highly durable wood decking product was born.

■Clips that reduce rot and cracking

By using clips (resin fasteners for mounting), we have succeeded in providing high durability by reducing rot and cracking caused by deterioration of screws and water seeping through screw holes.

■Unique structure of “Soft Line”

By using clips, there is no direct contact between the flooring and joists, allowing for good air circulation, reducing moisture and keeping the wood always dry.

■Significantly shorten construction period

By using clips, the process of countersinking the pilot hole and cutting the length of the joint part can be omitted, significantly shortening the construction period.

■Overview of Merbau

Merbau is a hardwood that is widely distributed throughout Southeast Asia. It is used on the riverside deck in front of Marina Bay Sands. It has both high durability and dimensional stability, and its muted color makes it easy to match with any building, making it popular in Europe and Australia not only as decking material but also as furniture and flooring. A hardwood with thick conduits and a unique streaky pattern on its surface. Although the sap contains a large amount of polyphenols and is highly resistant to decay, the sap components tend to seep out due to rain, etc., so please be careful where you install it. *Same as urin sap.
