When you need a lightweight alternative to metal parts that can withstand harsh conditions, parts made from Xycomp® DLF™ are the solution. This high-performance thermoplastic composite is designed to replace complexly shaped metal parts in aerospace and defense, space, and industrial applications. High fiber content Xycomp® DLF™ components meet FST (Flame Retardant, Smoke Toxicity) standards and 15 minute burn-through requirements, and weigh up to 60% less than metal components has been done. Ideal for aircraft, engines, aerostructures and mobility platforms.
