About This Product
■What is a spring balancer?
This device has a mechanism that balances the change in spring torque by using a tapered drum, making it possible to easily lift and lower suspended objects by hand.
■It is effective in the following situations
- For hanging various tools on assembly and manufacturing lines.
・When doing screw tightening or disassembly work for a long time.
- When suspending and centering equipment, jigs, processed parts, and materials.
■The advantages of a balancer are
・Reduces fatigue and improves work efficiency.
- Stabilizes the position of the tool and allows accurate work.
- Prevents tools from getting dirty.
・No electricity or air power is required, allowing safe work.
■Structure/Features/Safety design
- Fall prevention device A built-in fall prevention device is included in case the spring breaks.
- Auxiliary hanger All models are equipped with an auxiliary hanger in case the upper hook breaks.
・It is linked with the gauge spring and serves as a guide when adjusting the capacity.
・Drum lock mechanism The drum can be locked to facilitate tool replacement.
・Spring replacement Uses a cartridge system, allowing for safe spring replacement.
・Wire rope replacement A plug method is used to facilitate wire rope replacement.
■Model selection
Please choose a model that matches the weight of the equipment and tools to be hung. When selecting a balancer, calculate the capacity of the balancer based on the total mass of not only the tool itself but also the accessories.
■Installation method
- When installing balancers in succession, please install them with a difference in height to prevent them from colliding with each other.
・Attach the auxiliary wire. Please attach a sag so that the upper hook can rotate.
・Adjust the spring within the capacity according to the weight of the equipment or tool to be hung and the purpose of use.
■Spring adjustment
Adjust by turning the worm. (There are also ratchet type and handle type.) Turning it to the right increases the capacity, and turning it to the left decreases the capacity. (When shipped, the capacity is adjusted to the middle.)
