About This Product

A best-selling reducer that achieves high strength and reliability with a unique gear mechanism. Synonymous with reduction gears, boasting a long history and track record of delivery.

■Production range

・Capacity 0.1～132kW ・Reduction ratio 2.5 to 658,503 ・Motor type: 3-phase, premium efficiency, high efficiency, for inverters, outdoor, increased safety, explosion-proof, overseas standards, hollow input

■Mechanism

Adopts a mechanism using an original circular arc type (trochoid type) gear. This achieves excellent impact resistance and high efficiency. Furthermore, it is possible to manufacture a wide range of reduction ratios from 6 to 119 with a single-stage reduction, and it is compact.

■Tooth profile that does not break

The "curved plate" that is the gear of the cyclo reducer differs from a general involute gear in that it has a unique smooth curve (epitrochoid parallel curve). The internal gear also uses a unique arc tooth shape. Smooth rolling contact with no tooth breakage creates a tough and long-life reducer. (Some low reduction ratio specifications use helical gears and planetary gears.)

■A wide variety of variations

We offer a wide variety of capacities (0.1 to 132kW), reduction ratios (2.5 to 658,503), and motor types (outdoor type, explosion-proof type, etc.), allowing you to choose the product that best suits your needs.

■Supports SF (Service Factor)

You can freely choose SF. It is possible to increase the size of the reducer frame without increasing the motor capacity.

■Premium efficiency (IE3)

Due to motor efficiency regulations implemented in Japan from April 2015, three-phase induction motors have been changed to premium efficiency motors (Top Runner motors), excluding motors for 0.55kW or less, explosion-proof types, externally ventilated inverter motors, etc. Ta. Cyclo reducers are compatible with premium efficiency (IE3) motors.

■About registered trademarks

The academic and general name of ``Cyclo Reducer®'' is ``internal planetary gear reducer using trochoidal tooth profile'', and the names ``Cyclo®'' and ``Cyclo Reducer®'' refer to the products manufactured and sold by our company. This is a registered trademark that can only be used on products.
