About This Product

■Metal baller

Metal borer is a product that enables large-diameter drilling work in metal materials with less energy consumption and faster work speed. Including steel plates, stainless steel and cast iron. Furthermore, we can even perform drilling work on curved surfaces such as steel pipes. It is a versatile driller for metal materials that boasts high performance and can drill holes up to 150mm in diameter in materials up to 50mm thick.

■Significantly improved durability

- One chip divides the chips into three parts. ・Conventional metal borers have a set of 2 tips (outer blade and inner blade) and require 3 people to work with 6 blades, but the Deltagon Metal Borer requires cutting with all blades, which means 6 blades. In this case, there are 6 chips per person, so it takes 6 people.

■Workability has been greatly improved by Ohama.

・Achieves smooth drilling with unique cutting edge design. - Dramatically reduced the chance of getting stuck during drilling and clogging of cutting pieces after drilling.

■Improved chip discharge performance

Chips can be divided into three parts with one chip, making the discharge of chips smoother.

■Easy to repolish

Although it is highly functional, it has a simple blade shape with only one type. Easy to repolish.

■Features

- Machines with 5 horsepower or more can process steel plates up to 50 mm thick with hole diameters up to 150 mm. - It is a heavy cutting type with a large cutter and blade thickness and a large feed rate, so the structure is highly rigid. ・The center pin is a two-stage spring type. Positioning is accurate and cutting chips can be ejected smoothly. -Using a high-pressure pump (trochoid pump) to supply cutting oil cools the cutting edge and improves tool life. ・One-touch cutter exchange method for improved ease of use.

■Applications

- Steel plates, shaped steel, stainless steel plates, cast iron, etc. up to 50mm thick using various heavy-cutting machine tools. - For drilling large diameter holes.
