About This Product

■Hole saw

Using a hand-held electric motor, you can easily drill large diameter holes in metal plates, stainless steel plates, resin materials, etc. It is possible to drill holes in flat steel plates up to 4mm thick, stainless steel plates, and resin materials such as FRP and acrylic plates. If you use 278P, you can also drill holes in steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, etc. Excellent durability thanks to the use of carbide tips.

■Uses carbide tips for cutting blades

- Carbide tip with excellent sharpness and wear resistance allows for surprisingly fast drilling. ・Moreover, it has excellent heat resistance, so it can be used easily in a dry method. ・Furthermore, in order to prevent chattering due to the resonance effect that tends to occur during cutting, the carbide tips are arranged unevenly to securely grip the work material and allow efficient drilling work.

■ Large diameter holes can be drilled with a small amount of force.

Unlike a twist drill that cuts the entire hole surface, the Hole Saw 278 uses a cylindrical body to cut lines on a ring, allowing you to drill large-diameter holes with little force, and the finish is beautiful and almost perfectly circular.

■ Cutting amount setting method with safety in mind

The shape of the cutting edge has been carefully designed to prevent biting and swinging due to excessive cutting. It has a safe design that allows you to always work with a stable depth of cut regardless of the material.

■Features

-Uses an ultra-thin bimetal blade (blade thickness 0.6mm). - Reduces cutting resistance and is ideal for drilling with rechargeable driver drills and impact drivers.

■Applications

- For drilling steel plates with a thickness of 1.6 mm or less and stainless steel plates with a thickness of 0.6 mm or less. *Please be sure to use a rechargeable screwdriver drill when drilling holes in stainless steel. (Cannot be used in impact) *Be sure to drill at the appropriate circumferential speed. - For drilling holes in PVC, plastic, etc.
