About This Product

■Function overview

This device is a device that automatically switches between two audio signal systems, and has a rich track record of operation at commercial FM stations nationwide. It constantly monitors the line audio levels of the two lines supplied from the audio codec, etc., and automatically switches to the backup system based on the preset detection level and hold time. It is effective in fully duplicating terrestrial LINE codec lines for transmitting stations and satellite studio lines, improving the safety and reliability of broadcasting equipment. The main unit has a built-in web server as standard, allowing constant monitoring. By installing it on the master monitoring VDT shelf, constant monitoring can be strengthened, and alarm detection thresholds etc. can be easily set from the web screen. Furthermore, the alarm output can be integrated into the alarm monitoring of the master/transmitting station, etc., and highly safe operation is expected. The signal switching section is equipped with a ``Make before break type relay,'' which has a proven track record in satellite/terrestrial audio switchers for the JFN satellite distribution network. Efforts have been made to reduce switching noise, and there will be no audible discomfort when switching during operation. This machine has two stereo audio inputs, and comes standard with two systems in which the backup system line is switched by a relay in conjunction with the active system line. Optimized for digital stereo modulators such as Orban. (See recommended usage examples) The power supply section inside the device is duplicated to ensure reliability as main broadcast equipment.
