About This Product

■Features ・AD-Super II is a penetrating water absorption inhibitor for soft stone. - Suitable for preventing water absorption, eflo, dirt, and mold on Oya stone, Towada stone, Ryukyu limestone, etc. - When soaked into stone, it penetrates deeply into the stone, forming a durable water absorption prevention layer that protects the stone for a long time. ・AD-Super II is breathable, so moisture will not accumulate inside the coating. ・AD-Super II has the highest solid content concentration among AD-COATs, so a change in hue may occur after application, so testing is required in advance. ・Advance's AD-Super and AD-Super II are made by applying AD-COAT to Oya stone, which has a very high water absorption rate, and by reducing the water absorption rate, we are investigating whether the strength of the stone itself can be reduced. We are conducting a confirmation test. ■Water absorption measurement test according to JIS A 5003 at a public institution ・The water absorption rate of Oya stone coated with AD-Super and AD Super II was reduced to less than one-tenth of that of Oya stone without any coating. ・Furthermore, the water absorption rate was significantly reduced and the strength was maintained, so it can be concluded that water absorption prevention treatment is sufficiently useful for protecting the stone itself. ・AD-Super coating water absorption rate 1.93% Compressive strength 1551N/c ・AD-Super II coating water absorption rate 1.31% compressive strength 2040N/c
