About This Product
Undercoating material for chalk (for interior walls, paste form), 18kg (32㎡ coating). No petroleum-based ingredients such as synthetic adhesives are used. A special undercoat material for chalk made with 100% natural ingredients. Enjoy the peace of mind of using natural materials not only for finishing plaster, but also for undercoating. It can be safely used for DIY as a measure against sick house syndrome and chemical sensitivity. Available in 2 convenient sizes.
■Reliable "pure and natural finish"
By using the special finishing material ``Tosa Natural Plaster Chalk,'' everything from undercoat to topcoat can be finished with 100% natural materials.
■Construction method
・Since this product is made with water, it can be used as is after opening. Please be careful not to knead it too much as it may become too soft.
- Apply a thin layer of 0.5 mm or less to the underlying surface by rubbing it with a trowel. The aim is to make it so thin that you can feel the rough texture of the aggregate (marble powder) with a trowel.
・If applied too thick, it may absorb too much water during cracking or whitewashing, making it difficult to apply, so please strictly adhere to the standard coating thickness of 0.5 mm or less.
- Apply the final plaster approximately 1 to 2 hours after applying this product's base coat, when the surface of the base coat has hardened slightly. When applying finishing plaster to a dry surface, the water from the plaster will be absorbed and it may be difficult to apply. In that case, it will be easier to apply by applying a little water to the dry undercoated surface using a sprayer or roller. After applying this product, even if it is completely dry for a few days, you can still apply whitewash by adjusting the water absorption.
