About This Product

By using this wire, semi-automatic welding is possible without using carbon dioxide gas. (Can be used with either WT-MIG160/200S.) Available in 2 sizes: Φ0.8mm or Φ0.9mm.

■Advantages

・There is no need to prepare a carbon dioxide gas cylinder. Of course you don't need a regulator. - Can be used outdoors as it is not affected by wind.

■Disadvantages

Compared to solid wire (requires carbon dioxide) ・The price is high. ・Poor finish. (After welding, you can polish it with a grinder's cup brush to make it pretty clean.) ・There is a bit of fume (smoke).

■Examples of customers using non-gas wires

- I don't do welding that often, so it's a hassle to prepare a cylinder for that purpose. ・Use non-gas wire as there is a lot of work to be done on site or outside.
