About This Product

This is an adapter for connecting JEM-A control equipment and contact control terminal equipment.
For example, connect a JEM-A compatible intercom to an electric lock control device that controls unlocking using contacts.

■Product overview・Converts JEM-A standard control signals to 1-shot no-voltage contacts.
・Converts the make/break status signal into a JEM-A standard monitor signal.

■Main uses・Connection between JEM-A compatible intercom and electric lock control equipment that can control voltage-free contacts.
・Connection between JEM-A compatible IFU and automatic door that opens with one shot of A contact.

■Features・Contact control output
By setting this machine, you can select the contact that is output every time the JEM-A control signal is input.
・1 shot (about 1 second) contact output (N/O, N/C switchable)
Each time the JEM-A control signal is input, the OUT terminal of this unit will make or break for 1 second.
・Make/break contact output
Terminal status output
- By capturing the operating status from the contact terminal device through the contact, it is converted and output as a JEM-A monitor signal to the JEM-A control device.
・Outputs the monitor signal to the JEM-A control equipment while the IN terminal is connected.

■Ignore terminal status signal (N/C)- If the terminal operating status signal (contact) cannot be received from the terminal device, a pseudo monitor signal will be output.
・The normal operating state is ON (monitor reply), and when the JEM-A control signal from the JEM-A control device is input, the operating state is pseudo-OFF and restored after 5 seconds.
*The JEM-A monitor signal output to the JEM-A control device is different from the operating status of the actual connected terminal.
*IN of this device connection terminal cannot be used.

■Notes- Some parts may not comply with JEM-A standards depending on the connected equipment or operational aspects. Furthermore, we do not guarantee that the connected equipment will operate as intended.
・The JEM-A standard states that normal operation is confirmed when the distance between the JEM-A terminals is 1.9m.
・Please note that operation is not guaranteed if used at a distance of 1.9m or more.
-This product is also designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with JEM-A standards. If you use the product by connecting it at a distance that exceeds the specified distance, please thoroughly check the operation.
