About This Product
CT50 has enhanced drop impact resistance compared to conventional cutters. It is compatible with optical fibers from single fibers to multi-core fibers, and when cutting, it collects waste and cuts high-quality fibers with a single action. The main unit is equipped with a wireless communication function that cooperates with the fusion splicer, and quality control is performed by automatically rotating the cutting blade of CT50. Additionally, the cutting blade and clamp arm can be replaced by the customer, significantly reducing costs and replacement time.

Optical fiber cutter CT50 is capable of wireless communication with fusion splicer. If end face angle errors occur frequently during optical fiber end face angle inspection during the fusion splicing process, the fusion splicer determines that the cutting blade is worn out and can change the cutting blade position.
■Cutting blade management
You can check the usage rate of the CT50 cutting blade on the monitor screen of the fusion splicer. In addition, we will notify you when to change the position and height of the cutting blade based on usage conditions, and when to replace the cutting blade.
