The 90S+ core-aligned fusion splice sets a new standard in the fusion splice market. The 90S+ is a product with many new and enhanced features designed to help customers work faster and with greater precision. Automatic discharge condition control

■Discharge control according to end face condition

One of the causes of high splice loss is end-face defects when cutting optical fibers. The 90S+ is equipped with a new function that reduces splice loss by analyzing the condition of the left and right optical fiber cut surfaces before splicing and splicing under optimal discharge conditions.

■Real-time discharge control

Discharge is greatly affected by the usage environment. 90S+ analyzes the optical fiber emission intensity during discharge and appropriately controls discharge conditions to achieve low-loss connections.

■Discharge control according to optical fiber type

Optimal connection conditions differ depending on the type of optical fiber. 90S+ automatically identifies the installed optical fiber and performs fusion splicing using the optimal splicing conditions according to the type of optical fiber. Cooperation with optical fiber cutter

■ Cutting blade automatic rotation function

90S+ is equipped with wireless communication function. Bidirectional communication with the optical fiber cutter CT50 allows real-time management of the cutting blade status of the CT50. If end face angle errors occur frequently during optical fiber end face angle inspection for fusion splicing, the 90S+ determines that the cutting blade is worn and automatically rotates the CT50's cutting blade position. Additionally, the 90S+ can control up to two CT50s, so two can be used simultaneously during the connection process.

■Cutting blade management function

You can manage the current cutting blade position and the number of optical fibers cut at each position on the 90S+ monitor screen. Also, when the cutting blade is used up, a replacement message will be displayed on the 90S+ monitor.

■Reliable connection quality

Active Blade Management Technology and Active Fusion Control Technology can be used together to reduce high splice losses and minimize re-splicing.
