About This Product
Roomstar is Nishinippon Electric Cable's unit cable for indoor wiring. This product is a prefabricated product for wiring to devices and wiring devices after the residential distribution board, and is used in a variety of buildings and facilities such as detached houses, apartments, buildings and condominiums. VVF cable processing (measuring, cutting, circuit connection, insulation treatment, etc.), which was traditionally done at the construction site during electrical work, is now carried out at a dedicated factory.

■Integrated design and production system
We design a circuit for each product based on the drawings received from our customers, and perform processing such as cutting the cable to the specified length and making circuit connections.
■Stable high quality
All connected cables are circuit tested at the factory before being shipped, ensuring superior quality and reliability. In addition, it has been certified by the Japan Electric Wire and Wire Industry Association Standards (JCS), so the connection part has the same or better performance than cables.
■Significant cost reduction with less construction work
The cable sheath is color-coded according to its purpose, and the name of the wiring destination is printed on the surface, making it excellent for preventing incorrect wiring and for maintenance.
■Short construction period on site
Conventionally, cable measuring, cutting, circuit connection, and insulation processing, which were previously done at the construction site, and lighting and switch circuit configurations are processed in the factory, reducing electrical wiring work and improving construction efficiency. I can figure it out.
■Specifications
・Roomstar is a product that has passed the performance confirmation test of electrical and mechanical standards (Japan Cable Industry Association standard: JCS4398 "Unit cable for indoor wiring").
・Room Star consists of three main parts.
Connection section: This is the part where the conductors of multiple cables are connected to form a circuit.
Mold part: This is the part that stores the cable connection part in a container and insulates it by filling it with resin and fixes it.
Cable section: As a general rule, use a cable specified by JISC3342 (VVF: 600V vinyl insulated vinyl sheath cable) or a composite cable with equivalent performance, with a conductor size of 1.6mm or 2.0mm.
- When wiring the Roomstar, the destination (equipment and wiring equipment) can be determined by the color of the cable sheath (red: power supply, blue: switch, yellow: lighting/ventilation fan, gray: outlet, etc.) and the printing on the surface of the cable. That's what I'm trying to do.
