■Twisted pair improves crosstalk characteristics.
With electronic button telephones, various signals are sent and received between the main unit and the telephone over the data line even during a call, so it is necessary to improve the crosstalk characteristics between the voice line and the data line. ICT uses twin twist instead of quad twist. Moreover, since it is twisted at a small pitch, crosstalk characteristics are improved, making it effective against external noise.
■Easy construction with few pairs of cables.
Wiring to the phone can be done using a two-pair cable that is thinner than regular cables. Therefore, the installation work becomes very easy, and subsequent construction and relocation can be done easily.
■Color code makes identification easier and improves construction efficiency.
Each core is identified by the color of its insulation. It is easy to select and determine the wire core, and the use of electronic button telephone terminal boards, connection tools, etc. increases the efficiency of construction work.
