About This Product

■Simultaneous measurement of refractive index and optical rotation - The invisible becomes visible - You can see the ratio of fructose, glucose, and constituent components of the sugar solution, which could not be seen only by the refractive index (Brix).The hybrid "refraction polarimeter RePo-1", which combines refractive index and optical rotation, was born. Simply place just 3mL of sample into the sample stage and press the START button to measure the refractive index and optical rotation. The pure sugar percentage, international sugar content, specific rotation, and concentration are automatically calculated, and the display can be switched with the touch of a button.

If you set the upper and lower limits in advance, it also has a convenient function that will notify you with a lamp whether the measured value is within or outside the range. Please use it to improve your work efficiency. It can be used to investigate honey that tends to crystallize based on the ratio of fructose and glucose.

■2in1By measuring the refractive index and optical rotation at the same time, it is possible to determine the percentage of fructose, glucose, and other constituent components of the sugar solution, which could not be determined by measuring the refractive index (Brix) alone.

■Compact sizeCompact size, convenient to carry. It measures only 10.1 x 16.0 x 3.8cm and weighs only 325g.

■Automatic calculationAutomatically calculates pure sugar percentage, international sugar content, specific rotation, and concentration from the measurement results. In addition, you can switch the optical rotation, Brix, pure sugar percentage, international sugar content, specific rotation, and concentration using the buttons (for Repo-1).

■With judgment functionEquipped with a judgment function to improve work efficiency. When you set the upper and lower limits, a lamp will notify you of the judgment.
