It has become common practice to measure dark-colored raw sugar at 882 nm without decolorizing it. The automatic polarimeter/saccharimeter SAC-i 589/882 can measure samples at both 589nm and 882nm by changing the optical unit.

■Outstanding stability and reliability

ATAGO's original measurement engine allows stable measurements in just 12 seconds (4 seconds in high-speed continuous measurement mode).

■Touch panel that ensures comfortable and reliable operation

Simply install the observation tube and press the start switch to automatically measure and display digitally. Equipped with a touch panel, various settings can be made with comfortable operation. On the history storage screen, you can record 5,000 measurement results and zero adjustments/calibrations each.

■Achieving even higher accuracy with constant temperature function

Constant temperature measurement is possible by purchasing the temperature controller for the polarimeter as an option. We pursued ultimate simplicity with a new concept that is not built-in.

■Proof of trust: PTB traceability

It uses a quartz plate that has been calibrated by the German PTB (Physical Technology Institute).

■Consecana certification, proof of trust

It has been tested and certified by CONSECANA, an association of Brazilian sugarcane producers, ORPLANA.

■ICUMSA compliant

Compliant with the International Committee for Unified Sugar Analysis (ICUMSA), which sets standards for the sugar industry.

■Compliant with Japanese Pharmacopoeia

Compliant with the Japanese Pharmacy Law, which determines standards for the pharmaceutical industry. Measurement accuracy at 589nm
