About This Product

We have developed and patented GLTTM (Glass Lined Tube) to enable the realization of inert chromatographic systems. GLTTM is made by fusing a borosilicate glass lining onto the inner surface of a stainless steel tube. GLTTM can be used as a straight tube or processed into various shapes, so any chromatography accessory can be made with GLTTM.

・High heat-resistant temperature Maximum continuous use temperature 500℃

■Bending processingGLTTM can be bent without damaging the glass lining by heating the area where bending is required with a burner. It can be slowly bent to the desired angle in the flame when the metal tube turns red (approximately 800 ̊C). It is important not to bend the tube when it is cold, as this may damage the glass lining.

■Silver brazingAfter removing the black oxide layer, the metallized parts can be silver-brazed using conventional methods. It is important not to apply excessive heat to the tube as this may cause the glass lining to become uneven. After soldering, the parts should not be cooled too quickly, but should be cooled slowly to ambient temperature. Be careful not to allow hot flux to come into contact with the glass liner.
