About This Product

The laser tissue blood oxygen monitor "OMEGAMONITOR" is a non-invasive device that uses laser light to continuously measure tissue oxygenated blood volume, tissue deoxygenated blood volume, and tissue total blood volume in various areas such as muscles. is. There are devices that use near-infrared laser light and devices that use red laser light. The BOM-L1TRW uses a near-infrared laser and has a large measurement volume, making it suitable for measuring human muscle metabolism and monitoring cerebral circulation during surgery. The BOM-L1TRSF, which uses red laser light, is suitable for measuring hemodynamics in the skin and measuring the brain and organs of small animals. Unlike a pulse oximeter, it determines the oxygen saturation of all the blood within the sensing volume, allowing you to determine the dynamics of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood in living tissues. OMEGAMONITOR's light source uses three types of semiconductor lasers. The width of each emission wavelength is very narrow and the emission wavelengths are close to each other, and the stable emission system stabilizes the laser light output, making it possible to perform measurements with a high S/N ratio. Laser light is irradiated onto living tissue through an optical fiber within a single probe. To compensate for variations in the irradiated laser light intensity, it is constantly monitored by a pair of optical fibers within the probe. Since OMEGAMONITOR receives light at two points and calculates the difference between each blood volume parameter, it is possible to simultaneously measure blood dynamics from shallow and deep surfaces. The maximum measurement depth depends on the tissue, but is approximately the same as the distance between the fiber optic probe and the detector. By measuring microcirculatory blood flow using a laser tissue blood flow meter (OMEGAFLO) at the same time as OMEGAMONITOR, it is possible to understand tissue blood flow dynamics in more detail. ◼︎Red laser light type BOM-L1TRSF model description Since the measurement volume is small, it is suitable for measuring human skin, small animal brains and organs, etc. Optical fibers for irradiation and reception are contained within a single probe. Since there are two light receiving points, it is possible to measure shallow and deep areas from the measurement surface. The distance between irradiation and reception is variable. The hemodynamic values of the four elements of detector 1, detector 2, and 2-1 are always output as analog voltages from the back.
