On the other hand, reflective optical systems use only the reflection from the material surface, so the light transmittance of the material used is not an issue. In addition, metal coatings such as aluminum and gold that are used in the visible to near-infrared range also have high reflectance in the far-infrared range, so by applying a metal film coating to the resin surface, it is possible to transmit light from the visible range to the far-infrared range. It is possible to create mirrors that have uniform and high reflectance across the area.
