About This Product

SABIC's ULTEM and EXTEM are polyetherimide (PEI) resins with high heat resistance, high strength/toughness, and excellent chemical resistance. Ultem resin lenses are transparent in the near-infrared region and are widely used mainly in the optical communication field, which requires high reliability. Extem resin has even higher heat resistance, and even though it is a resin lens, it can be used in the reflow process at approximately 270℃. Nalux has accumulated a lot of know-how regarding these resins and molding, and has commercialized reflow compatible resin lenses. In addition, by utilizing the technology we have cultivated in optical elements, we also supply ultra-high precision molded parts for applications that require high heat resistance, chemical resistance, etc. Please feel free to contact us regarding molding of various super engineering plastics.
