About This Product
A hologram is an optical element that records interference fringes (two-dimensional phase information) generated by mutual interference between an object beam and a reference beam. By inputting appropriate light into the hologram, it is possible to reproduce the recorded object beam image. On the other hand, a computer-generated hologram (CGH) is an optical element that calculates the phase information that forms a desired diffraction image and embodies that phase information as an uneven shape.
By inputting appropriate light into the CGH, it is possible to reproduce the desired diffraction image used in the calculation. CGH generally has a fine and extremely complex structure. NALUX commercializes various CGH using extreme microfabrication technology such as electron beam lithography and ultra-precision resin molding.
