■What is a microlens array?

Micro Lens Array (MLA) is an optical element that integrates many microscopic lenses on the order of μm to mm. Microlens arrays have a wide range of applications, including optical communications, lighting, and adaptive optics. It is simply called a microlens array, but in the microlens array used for communication, each lens has an individual optical system, and these lenses collectively form a lens array. On the other hand, for illumination, the entire lens array is a single optical system, and the properties, required performance, and specifications of microlens arrays are completely different depending on the application. NALUX has various optical design, mold processing, and evaluation technologies, and proposes the optimal design and processing method according to the application and request.

■Characteristics of NALUX microlens array
