■Achieved short delivery times and low costs by using the gear cutting method that uses existing blades and jigs.

We use the Gleason single-side method gear cutting system using our unique calculation system to manufacture spiral bevel gears with short delivery times and low costs. Conventional gear manufacturing uses gear cutting calculation systems such as the Gleason method and Klingel method, and manufactures gears using a special cutter and a special jig. In particular, it took about 60 days to manufacture a special cutter and a special jig, and the delivery time until the first batch of products was released was an issue. Therefore, we have built our own calculation system for gear cutting and created a processing method that applies existing cutters and jigs to manufacture gears, making it possible to manufacture gears with short delivery times and at low cost. By optimizing our own production equipment, gear cutting conditions, etc. according to customer orders, we are able to deliver satisfactory products with short delivery times and low costs.

■Summary

The tooth traces are curved and have a very beautiful appearance, but unlike the tooth profile of a spiral bevel gear, these gears do not have twisted teeth. Spiral bevel gears have restrictions on the direction of rotation and must be rotated in one direction to maintain their characteristics, but zero-roll bevel gears have a twist of 0 degrees, making it possible to rotate in both directions just like straight bevel gears. In addition, since the tooth trace is a curve, it moves point by point, and the continuous point movement produces smooth rotation, making it quieter, producing less noise, and less vibration, which in turn reduces the burden on the teeth. The strength also increases. There are many examples of zero-bevel gear design changes to solve sound problems in areas where straight bevel gears are used.
