About This Product

■Code No. PLD05

Contains cDNA encoding mutant human diphtheria toxin receptor. By inserting a promoter sequence containing a transcription start site into the upstream multiple cloning site, a promoter-specific expression vector for mutant human diphtheria toxin receptor can be constructed. When diphtheria toxin is administered to transgenic mice created using this expression vector, cell death is induced in the area that expresses the diphtheria toxin receptor. This plasmid product is based on the TRECK (toxin receptor-mediated cell knockout) system developed by Professor Kenji Kono of Nara Institute of Science and Technology.
