The high-end pH/ion meter is based on the 867 pH module, which includes the 900 Touch Control, 854 iConnect and the intelligent pH glass electrode (iUnitrode). The pH module can perform standard addition (manual, dos, autodos) and liquid handling (add, prep, empty) in addition to pH, temperature, mV, Ipol, Upol, and concentration. This module allows the use of conventional and intelligent sensors for measurements.
The software also includes a GLP-compliant automatic pH electrode test. The pH module is equipped with 2 USB interfaces for connecting a printer, barcode reader or sample changer and 4 MSB interfaces for connecting a stirrer or dosino (for addition of pre-solutions or standard additions). Combined with touch controls, it meets the required specifications of GLP and FDA 21 CFR part 11.
