In areas where high concentrations of flammable gases, vapors, and dust are present, it is important to operate the equipment safely and not cause an explosion. Explosion-proof process analyzers are constructed according to the explosion-proof electrical domain class. For these environments, Metrohm Process Analytics has developed the 2045 explosion-proof analyzer for wet chemical applications and the process analyzer for spectrometry applications. ・Hazardous area certification and explosion-proof electrical area class certification (ATEX, ClassI Div2/ ClassI Div1, etc.) ・Smart design eliminates the need for large-scale analyzer purging shelters (space saving) - Eliminates the need for process personnel to collect samples, improving factory and environmental safety

The ADI 2045TI Ex explosion-proof process analyzer is used in hazardous areas where explosion-proof specifications are a critical safety requirement. This device complies with EU Regulation 94/9/EG (ATEX95) and is approved for use in potentially explosive zones I and II. Its structure combines an air purification system and an overpressure system with electronic safety equipment belonging to it. The air cleaning process and continuous overpressure prevent air from entering the analyzer housing in explosive atmospheres. The intelligent construction of the analyzer eliminates the need for cleaning large analyzer protection equipment and allows installation of the instrument in product lines within hazardous areas. Alongside measurements with titrations, Karl Fischer titrations, photometry and ion-selective electrodes, direct measurements are also possible with this Ex-p version. advantage

■Improve factory safety with explosion-proof process analyzers

If installed outside a hazardous area, a process analyzer housing with protection class IP66-NEMA4 is often sufficient. However, if installed in a hazardous area, a certified explosion-proof system is required. For such environments, the ADI 2045TI explosion-proof version of the stainless steel explosion-proof version is available for titration and optical measurement applications, which meets the EU ATEX directive and is certified for class 1 and class 2 hazardous locations. , also available for spectrometry applications.
